Extra, extra! DECIDE Key Results first beta prototypes delivered!

The last 28th and 29th of November, all the DECIDE partners participated in the 4th General Assembly of DECIDE action. The two days duration meeting was held at AIMES premises in Liverpool.

The main focus of the meeting was to show to the use cases (and to all DECIDE partners) the prototypes delivered in the past milestone (M12). The prototypes (and the related functionalities) presented were

  • ARCHITECT, for providing multi-cloud and NFR specific architectural software patterns.
  • OPTIMUS, for classifying the multi-cloud application so that the deployment configuration can be simulated.
  • MCSLA editor, for defining and compiling the combined CSLA of the multi-cloud application.
  • App Controller for storing deployment configurations already used by the multi-cloud application.
  • ACSmI both for discovery and contracting the available cloud resources where to deploy the multi-cloud application
  • ADAPT for automatic deployment and continuous monitoring of the multi-cloud application.

The discussions originated during the demo sessions were very productive and ended up with a set of actions, improvements and next step to be followed.

All these prototypes will be available soon in DECIDE’s open repository, stay tuned!
